DOWNEY, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was arrested for driving under the influence after sideswiping a big rig and overturning his car in Downey.

The incident was reported at about 9:50 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Old River School Road and Florence Boulevard, according to Downey police.

The driver and his passenger, who was temporarily trapped, suffered minor injuries.
