YUCCA VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6 struck the Yucca Valley area on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The temblor hit around 10 a.m. approximately 4.3 miles south east of Yucca Valley and 5.6 miles southwest of Joshua Tree, according to USGS.

There were no immediate reports of any damage.
