Woman injured in shooting at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw mall food court

BALDWIN HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A woman was wounded in the leg during a shooting at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw mall food court on Monday, Los Angeles police said.

The shooting was reported around 2:35 p.m. at the mall, located at the corner of Crenshaw and Martin Luther Ling Jr. boulevards.

LAPD says the female victim was shot in the left leg, but she was conscious and breathing.

What led up to the shooting was not immediately known.

No suspect information was immediately available. The mall was closed due to the investigation, but has since reopened.
