Fire breaks out at 2-story home in Montebello

MONTEBELLO, Calif. -- Firefighters battled a second-alarm fire at a house in Montebello Monday morning.
The blaze at the two-story home was reported around 8:30 a.m. in the 900 block of Yorktown Avenue.
How the fire started was not immediately known. There appeared to be heavy damage in the front portion of the house.
It was not known if anyone was injured.
