Florida waiter gets $1,500 tip from customer
A Florida waiter got the tip of a lifetime after working a busy night at Pazzo, a restaurant in downtown Naples.

NAPLES, Fla. (KABC) -- A Florida waiter got the tip of a lifetime after working a busy night at Pazzo, a restaurant in downtown Naples.

It all started when a customer seated in Carlos Perez's section told him that he did not see veal marsala on the menu.

Perez talked to the chef, who prepared a special meal for the guest.

The grateful customer said he enjoyed the meal and as a thank-you, he bought two cases of beer for the entire restaurant staff.

As the night continued, so did the generosity.

The customer then asked Perez what he would do for himself if he came into some unexpected cash. Perez replied by saying his current priority was to fix his car.

That's when the customer took out his check book and gave Perez a $1,500 tip.
