ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) -- A former Ontario police officer has been arrested on suspicion of having sex with a 17-year-old girl he met while on duty.

Tyler Stone, 30, turned himself in to police Thursday night. He is facing two counts of oral copulation of a minor, one count of unlawful sex with a minor and one count of annoying, molesting a child.

The investigation into Stone's alleged actions began in November after the Ontario Police Department learned of the alleged relationship between Stone and the juvenile victim. He was immediately placed on administrative leave and on Dec. 22, Stone resigned.

During the course of the investigation, officials learned Stone met the victim while on duty and later developed a sexual relationship with her.

Stone is being held at the West Valley Detention Center in lieu of $150,000.
