Former physician at Temecula Valley Hospital accused of sexual assault

TEMECULA, Calif. (KABC) -- A former physician at Temecula Valley Hospital was arrested Wednesday for allegedly sexually assaulting a patient following a surgical medical procedure.

Temecula police uncovered evidence which supported the victim's allegations during their two-month investigation.

Dr. John McGuire, 44, of Carlsbad was arrested and booked at the Southwest Detention Center.

McGuire was working at Graybill Medical Group in Escondido at the time of his arrest. He's being held in lieu of $3 million bail.
