Fugitive taken into custody by US Marshals in Pico Rivera

PICO RIVERA, Calif. (KABC) -- A fugitive was taken into custody following a search by federal marshals and Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies in Pico Rivera Monday afternoon.

The search began near Almo Street and Passons Boulevard at about 4 p.m.

South Ranchito Elementary was temporarily placed on lockdown. No further information was immediately released.
