FULLERTON, Calif. (KABC) -- A suspect has been arrested in connection to a hit-and-run that killed a man in a wheelchair in Fullerton earlier this month.

Brandon Joel Busse, 28, of Fullerton was arrested in a Tustin motel Saturday night on a felony count of hit-and-run causing injury or death. He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Police believe Busse struck Marc Borgfield on the 2600 block of West Orangethorpe Avenue on Aug. 18. Borgfield's wheelchair ended up in the middle of the street, and his body was thrown about 150 feet from the impact site.

The suspect's car, a late model white Ford Explorer, was located in the parking lot of the motel.
