Glendale apartment fire forces evacuations

GLENDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- An early morning fire triggered evacuations at an apartment complex in Glendale on Friday.

The fire broke out shortly after 4 a.m. at a building on the 400 block of North Adams Street.

Residents said the blaze started in a unit on the first floor.

It took firefighters about 45 minutes to contain the two-alarm fire.

No one was hurt.

There was no word on how the fire started.

It remains unclear how many people were displaced because of the fire.
