A description of the suspect was not immediately available, but officials said they were actively searching.

A dump truck crashed into La Fuente de Oro market on the 6000 block of Compton Avenue in Florence Sunday, June 8, 2014.

The market was partially red-tagged by Los Angeles County building inspectors. It is expected to reopen once the front portion of the market is repaired.

The market was closed at the time of the crash, but the owner was asleep in the back of the market due to a rash of recent burglaries. He was uninjured.
