LENNOX, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles County sheriff's detectives were investigating a possible gang-related shooting that resulted in the death of a 23-year-old man in Lennox.

Sheriff's deputies were called to a shooting at about 9 p.m. Sunday in the 4100 block of West 105th Street. Upon arrival, they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses told deputies that the victim was moving his car when another car with two men pulled up next to him. They asked the victim if he was a gang member and a struggle ensued. One of the suspects shot the victim before they both drove off, deputies said.

The suspects were described as between 20 and 25 years old. Their car was reported as a dark-colored sedan.

A murder weapon was not recovered.
