LOMITA, Calif. (KABC) -- A 31-year-old man was found on the sidewalk bleeding from stab wounds in Lomita Saturday morning, Los Angeles sheriff's deputies said.

Deputies were called at about 12:30 a.m. to the 26000 block of South Western Avenue, where they found the injured man. Witnesses told deputies that they heard a disturbance when they found the man.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
