HOLLYWOOD HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The man shot to death in a Hollywood Hills neighborhood was identified on Monday as 27-year-old Henry Estrada.

Paramedics were called to the intersection of Camrose Drive and Sycamore Avenue shortly after 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

They found Estrada with several gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.

Family members set up a memorial at the site of his death. They said he was the father of two children, who are both under the age of 10.

Deputies said the San Gabriel Valley native was visiting a nearby home and he was chased by his assailant up a hill.

Area residents say they heard the gunfire.

"Gunshots around the street, I mean I think there was around four or five shots, rapid fire, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, and it was apparent that it was gunfire," described one neighbor.

Another area resident said her husband called police after they heard around five gunshots. She said she didn't see or hear a car leaving the scene. She only heard a woman screaming, and she believes the woman is the victim's girlfriend.

That neighbor said she doesn't know the victim but she believes Estrada had been renting a residence in the area.

Police are looking for a male suspect who was seen leaving in a white or silver sedan. He was last seen heading eastbound on Camrose. The motive remains unknown.

If you have any information about this shooting, you're urged to contact police at (877) LAPD-24-7.
