Man shot to death in Pico Rivera; investigation underway

PICO RIVERA, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was shot to death in Pico Rivera early Saturday morning, and sheriff's homicide detectives are investigating the incident.

The shooting occurred around 5:30 a.m. in the 5400 block of Rosemead Boulevard.

When deputies arrived on scene, they found a man with three gunshot wounds.

Authorities said the victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately known.

The shooting remains under investigation.
