SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- A fast-moving brush fire jumped a parking lot and engulfed a motel in San Bernardino, sending several guests scrambling for safety Thursday evening.
Fire officials said the brush fire broke out shortly before 10 p.m. near the 200 block of Hospitality lane. The blaze quickly spread to the Super 8 Motel.
Two buildings belonging to the motel were burned, as were a number of cars.
Both buildings were occupied by guests, according to fire officials.
Dramatic video obtained by ABC7 captured guests running to their vehicles to escape to safety. Some guest were heard screaming to wake others to alert them to evacuate the motel.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
