Media attacked during Ferguson protests

Members of the media found themselves at the center of violence and protest in Ferguson Monday night.

Protests broke out across the country following the grand jury announcement that Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson would not be indicted for the shooting death of Michael Brown. But those included in the violence were reporters and members of the media covering the scene.

CNN's Sara Sidner was reporting outside a burning car dealership in Ferguson when a rock was thrown from behind at her head. After, Sidner told CNN that she had just been hit by a rock.
