HOLLYWOOD (KABC) -- Police released photographs Monday of a suspect who robbed a victim at a bank ATM in Hollywood in October.
The suspect approached the victim from behind at an ATM at the Bank of America branch on the 4900 block of Melrose Avenue at about 9:10 p.m. on October 15.
The suspect, described as an African-American man about 35 years old, with black hair and brown eyes, standing between 5 feet 9 and 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 170-180 pounds, reached into his waistband and simulated a handgun, according to the L.A. Police Department.
The suspect told the victim to surrender the cash or he would be shot, police said. The suspect took the money from the ATM.
The suspect was last seen wearing a purple Lakers baseball cap and a purple Minnesota Vikings football jersey. He got into a newer model car, possibly a red 2013 4-door Toyota Yaris.
