Miniature horse stolen from Phelan home

PHELAN, SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY (KABC) -- Deputies are asking for the public's help in locating a miniature horse who was stolen from a Phelan home last week.

The horse, named Runner, was taken from the home in the 7600 block of Luna Road last Monday.

"Runner" is 21 years old, black in color, approximately 150 pounds and 34 inches tall.

There were reports of a small or midsized pickup truck with a male holding the horse in the truck bed heading toward Adelanto.

Anyone with information on Runner's whereabouts was urged to contact the Victor Valley Sheriff's Station Rural Crime Task Force at (760) 552-6800.
