GLENDORA, Calif. (KABC) -- The mother of a Glendora High School student was arrested Friday on suspicion of battery after allegedly getting into a scuffle with a teenage boy on campus.

Glendora police responded to the school in the 1600 block of E. Foothill Boulevard around 12:50 p.m.

Erin Sims, 49, allegedly pushed and shoved a student who she claimed was being rude to her, police said.

"I will f--- you up if you do that again," Sims, who allegedly knows the teen, could be heard yelling. She then grabs the alleged rude teen's shirt and attempts to take him to the administration office to be disciplined.

Cellphone video shows Sims' son using one of his crutches to hit the alleged rude teen in the back. That's when the brother of the alleged rude teen comes to his defense and a larger scuffle ensues.

Sims rushes back, still holding onto the teen, to stop a fight between her son and the teen's brother but it's teachers and school administrators who ultimately break up the scuffle.

Sims was booked and released on suspicion of battery but it's up to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office to decide whether charges will be filed.
