Monterey Park police car shot at; no injuries

MONTEREY PARK, Calif. (KABC) -- A Monterey Park police car was shot at Thursday night and a search for a suspect was underway.

Investigators say two officers were sitting in their patrol car at Garvey and New avenues in Monterey Park when they heard a gunshot. The officers weren't hurt, but a bullet hit their vehicle.

No suspect description was available.
