RESEDA, Calif. (KABC) -- A male motorcyclist was killed Monday after colliding with a vehicle in Reseda, Los Angeles police said.

The crash occurred at 6:22 p.m. near Sherman Way and Enfield Avenue.

The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries. His name was withheld pending notification of kin.

The second driver was treated after complaining of pain.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Sherman Way was temporarily closed following the fatal collision.
