Nurse receives nasty note on his pizza order
A nurse in Texas received quite a surprise along with his pizza order

PARIS, Texas -- A nurse in Texas ordered a pizza during his graveyard shift in the hospital, but his dinner contained a note that some people consider extremely rude.

"We would appreciate it very much if you didn't wait until five minutes before we close," read Kerry Miller, a friend of the nurse who received the note. "What the heck? You know, come on."

Miller couldn't believe what he was reading when his friend, who is a nurse, sent him the photo.

"It was the rudest thing I've ever seen," Miller said.

A nurse at Paris Regional Medical Center said he received the hand-written note on the box after ordering from a Domino's pizza minutes before closing time.

"I don't care if they called one minute till, the business is still open," Miller said. "Service your customers."

What angered Miller the most is that he said nurses save lives every day. No matter the time, the holiday or the weather, they're never closed.

"How would you feel if you wrote something like that and then the next day you were laying there?" Miller asked.

In a statement, a Domino's spokesperson said in part, "We do not condone or encourage this kind of behavior or one-sided 'dialogue' with our customers."

The nurse who placed the order wasn't able to speak, but Miller said he was happy to step up for his friend. He posted the note on social media in hopes that it never happens again.

"I want to see an apology to that hospital," Miller said. "I don't care if they have to bring a pizza to every floor, those nurses deserve something better."
