Orange County authorities mark National Preparedness Month
Authorities urge residents to get a kit ready before disaster strikes.

ANAHEIM HILLS, Calif. (KABC) -- With National Preparedness Month, Orange County authorities are teaming up with Albertsons, Vons and Pavilions to show how easy it is to put a kit together to be self-sufficient for 72 hours.

Authorities urge residents to get their kits ready ahead of a disaster, stressing it's so simple even a child can do it.
