SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- A 48-year-old Santa Ana man was arrested after slamming into three Orange County businesses and one home while leading police on a pursuit.

Police said the suspect, Tuan Anh Truong, crashed into Sports Zone, 4702 W. First St., Temptation Cafe & Restaurant, 111 S. Harbor Blvd., and Thanh Noi Restaurant, 413 N. Euclid St., before crashing into a home in the 2200 block of Bobby Lane in Santa Ana starting at around 1:30 p.m.

At the Temptation Cafe, witnesses say the suspect backed into the business repeatedly.

"He was backed up into the business and he was just going back and forth," said Mohamed Qudah, with Mojo Computers, located nearby. "He was trying to go all the way inside with his truck and he just left and he was cussing and yelling."

Qudah grabbed his cellphone and recorded the suspect in the white 2006 GMC Sierra pickup truck, which was an unreported stolen vehicle.

Santa Ana police said they started getting numerous calls about the hit-and-runs. A motor officer located the suspect but Truong took off.

According to authorities, the pursuit stretched from Santa Ana to Garden Grove into Westminster.

Truong was arrested around 2 p.m. at the corner of Westminster Avenue and All American Way in Westminster after crashing in front of a law office.

Garden Grove police said Truong admitted to officers of being under the influence of crack cocaine and methamphetamine. He allegedly told police that he intentionally rammed into the building believing his drug dealers were inside.

Police said Truong was not injured and no drug dealers were found in any of the buildings.

Truong is facing numerous charges including auto theft, felony hit-and-run, DUI, driving on a suspended license and driving on probation for DUI, according to police.
