Orange County sheriff's deputy involved in Anaheim crash

ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- One person was taken to a hospital Saturday morning after a car crash involving an Orange County sheriff's deputy vehicle in an unincorporated area in Anaheim.

The incident took place at the intersection of Gilbert Street and Cerritos Avenue and was reported shortly after 2:15 a.m.

It was unknown if the deputy was responding to a call or what caused the collision.

The California Highway Patrol was handling the investigation.
