Oxnard man stabbed to death during fight

OXNARD, Calif. (KABC) -- An Oxnard man was killed after being stabbed during a fight Saturday night.

Oxnard police officers responded to a fight and stabbing in the 1400 block of Gina Drive around 11 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a 24-year-old victim suffering from stab wounds.

The man was transported to the Ventura County Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. Preliminary investigations determined the victim was involved in a fight that led to him being stabbed.

Authorities did not release any suspect information. The investigation was ongoing.
