SYLMAR, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles firefighters delivered toys and gifts to a family of 21 people, including 12 children, whose Pacoima home was destroyed in a fire Saturday.

The special holiday delivery was made thanks to the ABC7 Spark of Love Toy Drive.

"I was speechless, I had no words, just tears coming down my eyes," said Hilda Gonzalez. "We're really grateful for everything they've done for us."

On Saturday, their family's home in the 13000 block of Kelowna Street went up in flames. The family lost almost everything they owned in the fire. Their home was red-tagged, and the estimated loss totaled about $200,000.

Thanks to the community's generosity and amazing Spark of Love donations, the Los Angeles Fire Department was able to help ease the family's holiday heartbreak.

"We're able to give every child a bike, a scooter, remote control cars, dolls, you name it, we had it," said Michael Marquez of the L.A. Fire Department. "The looks on their faces, the smiles when they came around the corner and saw the pile of toys is priceless."
