Palmdale robbery: Clerk shot in the arm; suspect at large

PALMDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- A clerk was shot in the arm during a robbery at a cigarette store in Palmdale Wednesday night.

The incident occurred at about 8:45 p.m. at the Cigs Plus in the 37200 block of 47th Street East in Palmdale. The male suspect entered the store with a handgun.

The clerk suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

No suspect description was immediately available.
