PALOS VERDES ESTATES, Calif. (KABC) -- Police are searching for four suspects who tied up a couple inside their home in Palos Verdes Estates Saturday and robbed them at gunpoint.

The incident was reported in the 1700 block of Lower Paseo La Cresta at about 8 p.m.

The four suspects, described as black males, tied the two residents up for about 30 minutes while they searched the residence for valuables. How they gained entry into the home remains under investigation, said Palos Verdes Estates police Sgt. Lebeau.

The victims freed themselves once the suspects fled and called 9-1-1.

One of the victims was slightly injured, but no further details were released.
