A plane carrying 72 passengers and nine crew members crashed near Medellin, Colombia, on Monday night, killing at least 75 people.

Six survivors were found, the Associated Press reports. They had previously reported five and said that early reports from officials had been sometimes conflicting.

72 passengers and 9 crew members were onboard a flight that crashed in Colombia. Members of the Brazilian soccer team Chapecoense were among those killed.

Among the passengers were the members of Chapecoense, a Brazilian soccer team that was flying from Bolivia to Colombia on its way to a tournament, local media outlets reported.

Aerocivil, Colombia's civil aviation authority, published a list of those who were on the plane on its Twitter page.

Aerocivil has begun its official investigation into the crash, ABC News reports.
