Redlands mother searching for Good Samaritan who saved daughter's life
A Redlands mother is searching for the Good Samaritan she says saved her 12-year-old daughter's life at Splash Kingdom Waterpark Tuesday.

REDLANDS, Calif. (KABC) -- Sheri Snyder says her family was at Splash Kingdom Waterpark in Redlands Tuesday afternoon when her 12-year-old daughter, who suffers from epilepsy, suffered a seizure and went face-first under water.

The family suspects it was the sun shining through a chain-link fence as they floated down the park's lazy river on their inner tubes that caused Lyndsey Pellegrini to have a seizure.

"My body like kind of shakes and that's when I start to black out," Pellegrini said.

A Good Samaritan, as a woman in her 50s, quickly rushed into action and pulled Pellegrini out of the water.

"Because of her my daughter is here today," Snyder said.

Two days later, Pellegrini is doing just fine. But Snyder says they won't have closure until she finds the mystery woman who saved her daughter.

"She was wearing a black tank top that said 'Save the ta-tas,' so she's a wonderful woman that probably has either gone through breast cancer or has been there for someone in her life," Snyder said. "I don't know how to say thank you besides just giving her a hug and just telling her thank you. Because of her she's here."
