RESEDA, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles police were investigating the shooting of a man behind the Copper Bucket bar in Reseda early Sunday morning.

Officers and firefighters responded to the shooting at about 2 a.m. in the 17700 block of Vanowen Street. It was unclear how many gunshot wounds the man suffered or whether he was shot inside or outside the bar. Blood spatter could be seen on the back door of the bar.

The man was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

A suspect description was not immediately available.
