Sheriff's motorcycle deputy injured in Norwalk crash

NORWALK, Calif. (KABC) -- A Los Angeles County sheriff's motorcycle deputy was transported to a local hospital by ambulance following a crash in Norwalk Tuesday.

The crash occurred near Pioneer Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue. The deputy's condition remains unknown. He was transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange.

The deputy was off-duty when the accident occurred, said L.A. County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Nicole Nishida.
