SIMI VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- A 26-year-old Simi Valley man faces numerous felony charges for sexual crimes involving a female juvenile.

Corey Ackerman pleaded not guilty to six felony charges Wednesday afternoon in Ventura County Superior Court. The charges include extortion, possession or control of child pornography, oral copulation of a person under 18, anal and genital penetration with a foreign object, unlawful sexual intercourse and using a minor for sex acts.

Ackerman was arrested on Tuesday. Simi Valley police detectives say Ackerman engaged in sexual activity with an underage girl and an adult woman, and when the relationships ended, he allegedly threatened the two females in order to continue the sexual activity.

Two victims have been identified by detectives and date as far back as 2012.

Ackerman will remain in custody at the Ventura County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. His next court date is scheduled for Sept. 24.
