HEMET, Calif. (KABC) -- A man accused of killing his stepfather and half brother in Hemet was charged Tuesday with two counts of first-degree murder.
Quilik Lamont Walton was arrested last week after his stepfather and half brother were found dead in the home they all shared on the 400 block of Winthrop Drive.
A family member said she found the bodies of 44-year-old Deon Boyd and his 12-year-old son late Wednesday night.
Walton was arrested the following day, after an officer pulled him over in a traffic stop in the 28500 block of Shady Tree lane. He is set to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon.
