Surveillance video captures UPS package thief in Venice

VENICE, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles police are searching for a man who stole a UPS package from the front porch of a Venice home.

On Dec. 2, surveillance video captured a small 4-door, blue Toyota sedan believed to be the suspect's vehicle driving past the home, making a U-turn, then driving past the home again. Within a minute, video shows the suspect walking up to the porch, taking the package and leaving with the package.

LAPD asks the public to be wary of package thefts during the holiday season.
