Suspect kicks out Alhambra police car window

ALHAMBRA, Calif. (KABC) -- A suspect who allegedly broke into a home while high on drugs kicked out the window of an Alhambra police patrol car.

Police received a call about the break in around 3 a.m. Saturday. Police said after the man broke in, he started screaming for help.

Officers arrested the suspect. As they were taking him to the police station, the suspect tried to escape.

He kicked out the car window and broke the frame. He was not able to get away from police.
