Suspect wearing ninja mask robs Walgreens in Placentia
PLACENTIA, Calif. (KABC) -- A suspect wearing a black mask and armed with a machete robbed a Walgreens Pharmacy in Placentia Thursday night.
Around 7:50 p.m., a man described as wearing a black mask, similar to a ninja mask, and armed with a machete came into the pharmacy located at 1201 East Yorba Linda Blvd. He pointed the weapon at the store clerks and demanded cash.
After getting $200 in cash, the man fled the store and headed eastbound on Yorba Linda Boulevard where he eventually removed his mask.
The suspect is described as a white man, 29 years old, with 2 to 3 inches of curly brown hair, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180 pounds and clean shaven. He was wearing a black leather jacket, black shirt, black jeans and black gloves.
No one was injured during the robbery.
