SAN FRANCISCO (KABC) -- San Francisco police are searching for two thieves who drove into a high-end store Wednesday morning and made-off with very expensive merchandise.

Workers were busy Wednesday afternoon patching up the damage at the Chanel store near Union Square. Thieves crashed their vehicle through the store's back window on Maiden Lane.

Police said they have little information on the thieves.

"It's a he or she. We don't know the race or gender of that suspect, only that that suspect is wearing a knit cap. Has a face mask covering his identify," said San Francisco police officer Grace Gatpandan.

Police say the thieves drove away in a white vehicle. The store re-opened later in the day after the damage was cleaned up.
