Vegetation fire shuts down 134 Freeway in Eagle Rock

EAGLE ROCK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A vegetation fire shut down several lanes on the westbound 134 Freeway in Eagle Rock on Saturday.

The 5-acre brush fire was reported at about 7:30 p.m. on the freeway at Figueroa Street. It took about 30 minutes and more than 35 firefighters to knock down the flames.

No injuries or structure damage was reported.

A SigAlert was also issued and was lifted at about 9:40 p.m.
