VICTORVILLE, Calif. (KABC) -- The cause of the fire that damaged two units in a Victorville strip mall on Saturday was determined to be arson.

The three-alarm blaze erupted at around 12:30 p.m. in the 15500 block of 7th Street.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department said two transients were fighting, and one lit a bed on fire behind an unoccupied restaurant.

No evacuations were ordered. The blaze was knocked down at about 1:20 p.m.

Fire officials said two of 14 units in the strip mall sustained damage from the fire.

There were no injuries.
