VIDEO: Alleged kidnapping victim jumps out of moving car
A teenager in Connecticut escaped an apparent kidnapping by jumping from a moving car. The terrifying ordeal was all caught on camera.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (KABC) -- A teenager in Connecticut escaped an apparent kidnapping by jumping from a moving car. The terrifying ordeal was all caught on surveillance video.

The footage shows the girl rolling out of the passenger side of a car. Despite the fall, the girl emerged uninjured from the attempted abduction, which occurred on Monday.

The 17-year-old girl told police she was walking to school when the driver in a Toyota Yaris lured her into the car.

Once she was inside, the victim says she was assaulted by a woman, who the victim described as a Hispanic woman in her 40s with a ponytail, freckles on her face and a black leather jacket.
