Video Captures Driver Sinking Inside Truck

Doh!

A driver in Santa Barbara, California, seemingly forgot to detach his boat from his pickup truck on Sunday evening as video captured him and his truck sinking into the water.

Video shows Anthony Borello in the front seat as water filled the cab. That's when he tried the windshield wipers, but doesn't climb out of the truck.

The video shows him reappear a few seconds after the truck sunk and was standing on top of it when police arrived.

He backed up too far. The boat on the trailer floated," said Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol officer Larry Nufer. "He had no way to drive it back up."

The truck was badly damaged. It was pulled out of the water by divers.
