VIDEO: Suspect tries to torch Colorado bank, prank backfires

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KABC) -- An arson suspect was caught on surveillance video trying to set a Colorado Wells Fargo bank branch on fire.

Detectives say the man tried to set a jar of gasoline on fire and put it in the overnight drop box of the Colorado Springs branch. However, the prank backfired when the flames exploded in his face.

The man took off on his bike, but police think he may have been burned. Authorities are still looking for him.
