Westlake Village drone business burglars caught on surveillance camera
Sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help in identifying a pair of burglary suspects who were caught on camera breaking into a drone business in Westlake Village.

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (KABC) -- Dramatic surveillance video shows a break-in at a drone business in Westlake Village.

Ventura County sheriff's investigators say the burglars broke into DroneFly in the 2600 block of Townsgate Road at about 4 a.m. on Jan. 10.

In the video, one suspect is seen throwing what appears to be a piece of concrete through the front door of the business, shattering the glass and making his way inside.

He then is seen tossing expensive drones and camera equipment out the door where it's picked up by a second thief who loads it into a vehicle.

Sheriff's investigators say the burglars fled the scene with more than $40,000 in drones and camera equipment.

The suspects remain at large. The Ventura County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
