Video: Woman attacks man complaining about haircut at Escondido salon

ESCONDIDO, Calif. (KABC) -- It was a bizarre scene at a hair salon in Escondido when a man went in to complain about his haircut and ask for a refund.

Adam Cripe later admitted he used a few colorful words, which apparently offended one of the customers.

A 70-year-old woman was caught on cellphone video screaming at Cripe and shoving him out of the salon. Cripe said the woman chest-bumped him, told him he was "uneducated" and accused him of assault.

The man said neither of the two salon employees tried to intervene during the incident.

Cripe was then offered free haircuts for a year, but he said he had no intentions of returning to the hair salon.
