Woman found dead in Aliso Viejo apartment

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in an apartment complex in Aliso Viejo on Monday night.

Sheriff's deputies from San Bernardino County were serving a search warrant at the unit on the 23400 block of Summerfield when they made the discovery around 6 p.m. They called investigators from the Orange County Sheriff's Department to the scene.

The woman's name and age have not been released. A cause of death has not been determined, and an autopsy is planned for Tuesday.
