Woman found stabbed to death in Saugus; son held as person of interest
Homicide detectives are looking into the stabbing death of a woman found at a Saugus home.

SAUGUS (KABC) -- Investigators are looking into the stabbing death of a 56-year-old woman at a home in Saugus.

The woman's 24-year-old son is being held in custody as a person of interest in the murder, officials said.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department investigators were called to the 19500 block of Castille Lane in the Santa Clarita community on a stabbing call.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

Officials say the woman's husband called 911 after finding her stabbed to death.

Investigators are treating the death as a homicide.
