'Chopper' the alligator taken from Rancho Cucamonga owner

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (KABC) -- A beloved alligator has been hauled off from her home in Rancho Cucamonga.

Chris Cassaro owns the alligator, named Chopper. He is upset and fighting to get back what he calls his "little girl."

Cassaro only has a city permit for the 6-foot-long alligator, which California Fish and Wildlife officials say doesn't cut it.
